Manage Attainments

To add an attainment for the current learner:

1. Click the Add Attainment button on the Enrolment ribbon.

   

   A new record is added in the Attainments grid.

2. Enter the required details in the Attainment Details section.

   

The fields in the Attainment Details section are described in the following table.

This field	Holds this information...
Attainment type code	The attainment type code. Select from the drop-down list.
Description	The full description of the attainment to be recorded.
Predicted Grade	The grade predicted to be achieved by the learner for the attainment.
Actual Grade	The actual grade achieved for the attainment.
Date Awarded	The date the attainment was awarded. Click the Calendar button to display a calendar, where you can select a date.
Expiry Date	The expiry date (if applicable) for the attainment. Click the Calendar button to display a calendar, where you can select a date.
Gained Here	Whether the attainment was achieved at this institution.
Year achieved	The year the attainment was achieved.
Exam Board	The exam board the attainment was achieved from. Select from the drop-down list.
Qual type	The qualification type. Select from the drop-down list.
NVQ Level	The NVQ level for the attainment.
Funding Year	The funding year to record the attainment against. Select from the drop-down list.
Local Qual On Entry	The local qualification on entry code. Select from the drop-down list.
Qual Aim	The learner aim code. Click the Search button to display the Qual Aim Search window, where you can select the required code.
Source of Data	Displays 'PLR Data' if the attainment record data has been downloaded using the Attainments (PLR) Download functionality in Learner Manager (read-only).
PLR ID	The PLR ID for attainments downloaded using the Attainments (PLR) Download functionality in Learner Manager (read-only).
Main Qual Subject	The main qualification subject. Select from the drop-down list.
Qual Type (HESA)	The qualification type. Select from the drop-down list.
Exam Sitting	The examination phase (for example: summer). Select from the drop-down list.
Include in HESA	Whether to include in the HESA file.

3. Click the Save button to confirm the changes.

   The attainment record is added.

To duplicate an attainment:

1. Select the required attainment in the Attainments grid, and then click the Duplicate Attainment button on the Enrolment ribbon.

   

   The details of the selected attainment record are reproduced in the Attainment Details section.

   

2. Amend the attainment details as required. See Add attainments for more information.

3. Click the Save button to confirm the changes.

   A new attainment record is created.

To delete an attainment:

1. Select the required attainment in the Attainments grid, and then click the Delete Attainment button on the Enrolment ribbon.

   

   The following message is displayed.

   

2. Click OK to confirm deletion of the attainment.

   The attainment record is deleted.

   Note: You cannot delete an attainment that has already been graded.
